Fall registration for Tempe classes and programs is now underway

The kids are back in school and the temperatures are bound to cool down soon, making it the perfect time to “fall” into a new activity. The fall Tempe Opportunities brochure is jam-packed with classes and programs to keep every member of the family active and engaged.

Choose from in-person or virtual activities in a variety of areas like adaptive recreation, aquatics, arts, boating, exercise and fitness, special interest, sports, tennis and more. Quality classes are available for all ages and abilities at convenient times, locations and affordable prices.

You can pick up a copy of the brochure and register in person at Kiwanis Recreation CenterEscalante Community CenterNorth Tempe Multi-Gen CenterPyle Adult Recreation Center and Westside Multi-Gen Center. You can view the brochure and register online at tempe.gov/play.
Registration is now open for all Tempe residents and opens to everyone on Aug. 16. Most classes begin the first week of September.

Masks are required for City of Tempe employees and patrons ages 6+ while inside city facilities. This applies to vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. Patrons at any of the City’s multigeneration or recreation centers must wear a mask while in the facility, but may remain unmasked while participating in physical activity, or when actively eating or drinking. Cleaning protocols remain in place. Patrons who feel ill or have any COVID-19 symptoms should stay home.
